Worcester Academy Maker Camp

Maker Camp is a hands-on, inquiry-driven experience that encourages students to create, collaborate, and problem solve. Using a mix of low-tech and high-tech materials, students will work individually and in groups to craft, tinker, produce, and learn. Open-ended challenges will engage students to work with:

  • Little Bits electronics kits
  • Book arts and origami
  • Lego robots
  • Paper circuits
  • Block programming
  • Sphero, Ollie, Ozobot, Dash, and Dot robots
  • 3Doodler pens
  • eTextiles and much more.

This camp is designed to promote and motivate students to explore interests in arts and science through making. Students will also participate in a field trip and daily recreational games and swimming. The week will conclude with a symposium where students will share their projects and experiences with family and friends.
