This online course is designed to review the main topics of Algebra in order to prepare students to take Pre-Calculus. It is intended for both current WA students as well as students new to WA. While the Pre-Calculus course at WA normally begins with some review of algebra topics, this course will strengthen the algebra foundation of incoming students and enable them to be in a better position as their Pre-Calculus course begins. Topics covered will include exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, equations, mathematical modeling, and inequalities. Students will need to complete work for the class each day but can work ahead as their summer schedule allows.
