Stephen McKinley taught math and science for several years before coming to Worcester Academy in 2016. He holds a B.S. in Physics and a M.A. in Teaching from Cameron University in Oklahoma. He has several years of experience in working with educational robotics programs, having worked with BotBall (a Lego based competition), BEST, VEX and FIRST Robotics competition teams. He currently teaches physics, introduction to engineering and is a mentor for the Worcester Academy VEX and FRC robotics teams.

Paul Himottu joined the Worcester Academy faculty in 2004. At Worcester Academy, Mr. Himottu has instructed students in a variety of math courses (Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Precalculus) as well as Physics. He has also been the advisor to the Robotics Club. Prior to beginning his teaching career, Mr. Himottu worked for several years for companies in the computer industry as a hardware engineer. Mr. Himottu holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has completed graduate coursework in education.

Jennifer Hanson

Jennifer Hanson is the Director of Library Services at Worcester Academy. She runs a maker club for the middle school and promotes the use of the school’s maker space. Ms. Hanson holds a master’s degree in Library Science from Indiana University. 

Michael Belanger

Michael Belanger has been a Technology Integration Specialist for elementary, middle and post-secondary levels of education for over 11 years. He holds two Master’s Degrees; Master in Education (CIT) from Framingham State University, and a Master of Science in Professional Communications from Clark University. Currently, he is in his dissertation phase of his Doctorate degree through Grand Canyon University, Phoenix AZ. He enjoys working with people of all ages to help them bring their ideas to life using technology. Mr.B is looking forward to meeting the next generation of technology learners in 3D printing!

Stephen Scott

Stephen Scott teaches Broadcast Journalism in the Upper and Middle school. He holds a B.A. in History/education from Worcester State University.  Mr. Scott has previously hosted radio and television shows focusing on high school sports and golf.  He also advises Student run broadcasting program, OskeeVision, that live streams and films Worcester Academy events, including sporting events, arts events, assemblies and graduation.

Jennifer Trombino

Jennifer Trombino has 20 years of experience in education and currently works with students and educators as a technology integration coach. Ms. Trombino has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Environmental Sciences and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology. She has worked at WA in the past directing the Multimedia and 3D Printing camps, and is excited to be directing the Video Game Design camp this summer.

Kimberley Berndt

Kimberley Berndt is a science educator with 24 years of experience.  She currently teaches at St. Mark's School where she has chaired the Science Department and developed their STEM Research Fellowship.  Kimberley is currently completing her masters in STEM Education through the University of Southern California.
